Purpose of organization
To provide Jewish music and Jewish music education to the entire community in the Tampa Bay area in an effort to provide an understanding of Jewish culture through music. The intent of providing the concerts and education is to help bring Mike Eisenstadt’s dream of Jewish culture, through music, to the Tampa Bay area community, making the Jewish and non-Jewish public more aware of this rich culture, thus working toward religious tolerance. Several types of events will be held, including the production of Jewish music concerts performed by entertainers who specialize in Jewish music. These concerts will be open to the public and held in venues in the Tampa Bay area at a cost affordable by all who wish to attend. Other events will include courses taught by entertainers or individuals with knowledge of the history of Jewish music. These courses will be held in such venues as schools, cultural or community centers or to organizations that request that a representative speak to their membership.
